Meet Ronda Roberts MD
Developmental & Behavioral Pediatric Care
As an independent Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrician for more than 25 years, Dr. Roberts is passionate about supporting each child in reaching their fullest potential. She values the individuality of every child and family and works closely with them to understand their strengths, challenges, and goals.
Dr. Roberts began her academic journey at the University of California, Santa Barbara, earning her undergraduate degree in Biopsychology. She developed a deep interest in the relationship between brain function and behavior. She went on to attend University of California, San Diego School of Medicine. During medical school, she spent an additional research year focused on the importance of the doctor–patient relationship and the impact of meaningful connection in medical care. Dr. Roberts completed her internship and residency at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles. During her internship, she was the recipient of the Frances Nunnelly Winzer Scholar Award for Intern of
the Year. After her residency, she moved to Eugene with her young family and practiced general pediatrics in a small office setting. In her years of primary care practice, she recognized that many children with developmental and behavioral differences needed more time, deeper evaluation, and a more individualized approach than traditional primary care settings could provide. This realization led her to pursue a Neurodevelopmental Fellowship at Oregon Health & Science University, where she was awarded the United Cerebral Palsy Scholarship. Dr. Roberts is a member of the Society for Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics. Her practice is grounded in respect, collaboration, and a belief that meaningful progress begins with truly listening to families. Outside the office, Dr. Roberts enjoys the beauty and abundance of nature in the Pacific Northwest. She enjoys camping, gardening, and spending time with her husband, her two adult children, and their families. Dr. Roberts feels honored to partner with families in supporting children’s growth, resilience, and lifelong well-being.
